The check valve types 561 and 562 ring in a new generation of valves, featuring more safety, simplicity and efficiency.

Our engineers focused primarily on two areas in the development of the new check valves: How can we make an established product type even more reliable? And how can we reduce the wear and tear on moving parts and consequently keep maintenance to a minimum? The solution was to completely redesign the inner workings of the valve.

GF Piping Systems developers examined every function and optimized every detail until a much improved valve performance was measured.

The two check valves type 561 and type 562 fit into the most common piping systems worldwide thanks to our comprehensive product range.

I picked up my goods from Plumb&Parts at Unit 29 & 30 Anniesland Village Business Park Glasgow G13 1AY as directed. This was all very efficient thank you but unfortunately the coal matrix was damaged and a new one had to be ordered. I am awaiting this part. Although my order was delivered 1 day behind schedule they gave me ample notice of this and kept me up-to-date on what was happening with my order. Everything went very OK but delivery. I placed the order and made the payment on December 23rd, 2010, with a kind request for special care since it was kind of an emergency. I received a message advising that delivery was CONFIRMED (not estimated) on DEC 30th (refer to my order), but actual delivery took finally place on JAN 7th. You may agree that £25.20 fee for 15 days to cross the channel (I live in Paris) is difficult to accept for me especially during such a cold winter :-( I certainly will not renew the experience, although you have good products at very competitive prices because one can not afford to wait for 15 days to have his heater fixed during winter time.
