If you’re disabled or
have a long-term illness, you won’t be charged VAT
on products designed or adapted for your own personal
or domestic use. Also, you won’t be charged VAT
on:
- The washroom, bathroom and sanitaryware goods MyTub
supply which are designed or adapted for a disability.
- The installation and any extra work needed as part
of this.
- Repairs or maintenance.
- Spare parts or accessories.
Qualifying products or services
Please contact
us for more clarification but products designed
or adapted for a disability qualify. For example, certain
types of:
- Toilet products
- Washroom products
- Bathing products
- Medical appliances to help with severe injuries

To get the product VAT free your disability has to
qualify. For VAT purposes, you’re disabled or
have a long-term illness if:
- You have a physical or mental impairment that affects
your ability to carry out everyday activities, eg
blindness
- You have a condition that’s treated as chronic
sickness, like diabetes
- You’re terminally ill
You don’t qualify if you’re elderly but
able-bodied, or if you’re temporarily disabled.
You’ll need to confirm in writing to us that
you meet these conditions. Please complete these two
forms

Following damage on the first delivery the replacement arrived very well packed but still with two bent pins at the end of the bulb!!! This obviously did not happen in transit. It seems that a consignment delivered to you must have been damaged. I advise checking before delivery. I have managed to sort out a bulb so that it is usable and it seems OK.

Requested delivery time for possible order - advised 10-15 days - agreed and ordered online - then to be told delivery not til Oct 08 - I would have appreciated being told this in the beginning as this is what I was trying to find out. However - when I phoned to cancel & request refund - this was done without any problems & email sent straight away confirming refund done - Thank you... ...Janet Kulpa

Initial customer service was excellent. However despite placing the order at 9am on a Thursday and getting a confirmed delivery date of the Friday the branch that held the part somehow managed to neglect to send it either on the Thursday or Friday. If I hadnt chased the delivery Im not sure whether it would ever have been sent at all! However Jeanette in customer service did everything she could to sort out the error and we eventually received the part on the Tuesday afternoon. I asked if there was anything that could be done on the postage and they refunded it in full. Overall great telephone service but massively let down by the branchs performance.... ...Jo Martin

Payment options - like a lot of people I use a debit card for payment. Debit card isnt one of the options, you have to use the "credit card" option and presume that also covers debit cards.
Make it clear and incorporate "debit card" as an option please.

I was very impressed with the level of service I received. The order process differed from that advertised on the website but I was kept informed all the way and given the option to cancel the order and look elsewhere.

first class service right up to the point of delivery... the delivery guy was in my wife's words "the rudest delivery, i have ever had", the guy just grunted "sign ere..." my wife then asked if he had a pen and he just said "no".... he then mopped off to the van and then put the package on the floor by the door and walked off!!!! seriously no manners.... sorry to say this would put me off using you again.... ...Andy Knowles
