Overall, a not very good experience, admittedly dealing with a tricky problem. Let me first say though that the staff I corresponded with were absolutely first rate- a credit to you.
Having said that, It took over two months to locate and ship the part I was looking for, despite having been promised it would be delivered much earlier. Also, the punitive shipping charges meant it was nearly as cheap to buy two as one- so I did. I guess this means you do not want small bits of business.
Finally, and not really your fault, the part I was sent was not a copy of what I was trying to replace. It looks like the supplier has tried to produce a universal part to replace many minor variations on the same theme that have been produced over the years. It did not fit. When I placed my order there was an initial blip with regard to delay in the delivery date However, this was very quickly resolved. The interest for the customers needs was noteworthy and reassuring.
Two members of the staff need special mention--- Deborah and Christine whose dedication to my requirements was exceptional. THEY ARE BOTH A CREDIT TO THE COMPANY and need recognition....

Excellent service with delivery on the date promised. Great communication at all times.
Only gripe I have is that with buying Armitage Shanks products I would have expected that they would have the company name embossed on them as in the past. To me Armitage Shanks is a quality product, the reason I bought them in the first place and I have also written to them to that effect with feedback.

First, The part is correct, fitted and leak free, so thanks. Actually, if I were to do this again I would buy from a local shop, accepting the higher piece price for a faster delivery. Your price advantage was almost completely eroded by the shipping charges - why not simply post it especially as I was prepared to wait. Anyhow, as I said before, the part is correct and has fixed my problem so Im happy enough on that score. Regards
