DIMPLEX PIERMONT STOVE PMN20 DIMPLEX has added design precision to stoves with the addition of the new Opti-mystPiermont which combines award winning flame and smoke effects with finely tuned proportions to suit most UK homes.

Previewed to industry acclaim at this years Hearth & Home Show, the new Piermont is available now and its authentic design and price point makes it the ultimate alternative to a woodburning stove says Chris Stammers, marketing manager for DIMPLEX fires.

"Weve already had a fantastic reaction to this stove and its set to fly off the shelves this winter because its got all the features that appeal to those seeking a real stove, including a large picture window that displays the magical flame and wispy smoke effect within compact dimensions. And best of all, consumers can have a realistic hassle-free stove that just plugs in, he says.

The Opti-myst effect pioneered by DIMPLEX is at the leading edge of realism in electric fires and gives the impression of burning logs and random flickering flames, with occasional wisps of smoke. The flames and smoke intensity is variable, so the impression can be easily adjusted, and the flame and smoke effect can be lit independently of the heat.

Heat is available from a quiet, concealed fan heater with 1kW and 2kW heat selection which means that running costs can be closely controlled. And because the heat can be selected independently, theres no wastage of energy through overheating and the fire can be used year round on dull but mild days and evenings.

The Piermont looks like a substantial woodburning stove and yet its clever design has compact dimensions to allow it to fit most UK homes. It stands 650mm high, is 540mm wide and 370mm deep and because its electric, it can be plugged in anywhere, with no need for a chimney or flue.

There are no concerns about emissions either and no annual safety checks are required and it is backed by the additional safety of BEAB approval which is a guarantee of independent and ongoing safety checks.

Thank you for a quick and efficient service. It was especially pleasing to be able to source what must be a rarely ordered, obscure, component. It was also good to do so without the punitive pricing available elsewhere.
