The heating controller was a direct slip-in replacement for the old version I had been enjoying over very many years, and is working well. The only problem with the old one was that the control button for the CH function was becoming very intermittent.

my order was late even though i have an email stating it was deliverd on Friday 9th May, when it did arive Wednesday 14th May part of my delivery had bits missing and looked like it was picked up of the workshop floor, so wasnt to impressed!!!

I would like to pass on my thanks to Christine and Deb who really got me out of a hole when my original order couldnt be delivered for 3 weeks. They made some phone calls and researched their web content to source me a similar looking product and the end result is that I cant tell the difference between the original product I ordered and the alternative that was delivered. The follow up to make sure the item was delivered for my tight deadline was also a huge reassurance and enabled me to sleep! The PEGLER 12inch COLD QT CARTRIDGE 814043 and the PEGLER 12inch HOT QT CARTRIDGE 814042 arrived safely at 08.30hrs on the date specified. Unfortunately there were no fitting instructions supplied. You might argue that the fitting of these cartridges should be self explanatory. Well.... the cold cartridge has a groove around the shank.... it also has a "red" seal at the bottom.... Now "red", to my simple mind, is normally associated with the "hot" water supply. Pegler did produce a fitting instruction leaflet.... which I rescued from the rubbish left by the installers who fitted my new bathroom some ten years ago. Had I not done so I feel that I would easily have made the mistake of fitting them the wrong way round. Simply labelling each cartridge as either hot or cold, or with the spe
