Apex Heritage cast iron products are produced by the traditional sandcast method, in which the sand not only imparts the authentic cast iron texture and appearance but also allows for example pipe collars and ears to be cast in one piece with downpipes.
Alumasc combines traditional sand casting expertise with new methods wherever appropriate.
The company has perfected the welding of cast iron so that fittings or offsets to suit a particular situation can be specially fabricated where the alternative of making a pattern and casting would not be economic.
Alumasc holds master patterns for a wide range of gutter profiles, downpipes and accessories, which can be manufactured to order.

Hi there. The first thing that went wrong was that the delivery date was shown to be very quick (which is why you got the order) - it was only when i had actually ordered the item that you subsequently informed me of the true delivery date, which was too far ahead to be of any use to us as we needed the toilet fixed before New Year's Eve as it was my birthday and we were having a party. However luckily i rang and spoke to Laurie who was extremely polite and helpful and he took the trouble to check with the supplier for me if the item was in stock (which it was) and then arranged for the item to be delivered very very quickly. He deserves a medal as we were then able to fix the problem. He also took the trouble to wish me a happy birthday, which was above and beyond the call of duty. Wou

Nice taps, delivered as promised. A conservative delivery estimate which is achieved is much better than a shorter estimate not achieved - even if the former actually delivery lead time is longer than the latter i.e. if you say 5 days and it takes 7 days thats worse than saying 10 days and getting it in 10. Ideally of course you would reduce your estimated lead time 10 days to 5, or whatever and still achieve this shorter time. Regards GG
