Alumasc has taken the traditional process of casting, and by combination with modern quality control and finishing techniques, has produced a product range that is in keeping with traditional architecture whilst being fully in tune with contemporary performance requirements.
Apex Heritage cast iron products are produced by the traditional sandcast method, in which the sand not only imparts the authentic cast iron texture and appearance but also allows, for example, pipe collars and ears to be cast in one piece with downpipes.

Apex Heritage Beaded Half Round socketed cast iron gutters, in 2 sizes, incorporate a pronounced feature bead on both lips.
This adds character and definition to the gutter edge in a true sand cast product.
Fittings and fixings are also available as illustrated.

Ordered a bathroom cabinet panel on Monday. Received a phone call on Wednesday asking if it would be ok to deliver it that day, which it was. I received it early evening on Wednesday. All in all a first class service and would recommend to everyone.

Very nice and sturdy unit with nice deep sink now fitted, but ... rather difficult to fit as: a holes for plug and tap were not flat, so lots of silicone required to make neat and watertight b only a hole on one side of the sink to secure to wall - could do with one on both sides to hold it stable c no levelling adjusters provided on cabinet, and made unnecessarily complicated to level by having 5 fixed feet on it. I would not buy this if I was getting someone else to fit, as they would not be able to fit it very well in the time they had allocated to the job. Also think twice before buying a ready-assembled vanity unit if the pipework means you need to cut away the back at all - it is quite awkward to get at once assembled, whereas the parts of a self-assembly one can easily be cut o

We were happy with the purchasing process, it was only the delay in receiving a delivery date that caused us a problem as we had a building project on and there was a chance that we needed to reschedule other tradesman. Order did arrive on date supplied. After having made frantic efforts to secure an am or pm delivery, I was advised that I would be having a pm delivery. The delivery was then made between 9 and 11am because luckily a friend was in to take the parcel in. I also note that a message had been written saying deliver after 12!!!
