      The Boiler Buddy is a premium quality, in-line, high efficiency, magnetic filter that uses award winning patented flux plates and a magnet to remove ferrous particles from system water. From technology that is used in Formula 1 motor racing, the Boiler Buddy has been designed to complement the Fernox cleaning range, ensuring the collection of magnetite, rust and magnetic particles which are present in central heating systems and prevent potential component damage by erosion from circulating debris or deposition. Unlike conventional filters the patented plate design not only traps magnetite to sub-micron levels, but it also ensures that the filter does not restrict flow, even when full. The clear housing enables the build-up of debris to be observed and offers a unique opportunity to provide a window on the central heating system for condition monitoring. When powerflushing systems, simply isolate the Boiler Buddy at the connection points, remove and powerflush across the in-situ connections.

    The order took a very long time to be delivered mainly becuase the manufacturer was having trouble obtaining parts for an item is now one of its discontinued range. There were two hinges and each had a different quaility finish. However as this part is no longer made I think it was furtunate to get it at all. The regualr updates and feed back from myTub were excellent. The best from any supplier I have had dealings with. Each time I was ready to complain I found another update letting me know there was a delay and the reason. I was very impressed and would use myTub again because of the positive experience I had.
