  Daikin Altherma Low Temperature (LT) Split system is a tried and tested concept first launched in 2006 with over 200,000 installed across Europe. The latest model heat pump is the perfect choice for all new build and many refurbishment projects. The system comprises an outdoor unit which extracts energy from the outside air, connected by refrigerant pipework which delivers this energy to an indoor unit (or hydrobox) which can be located up to 50m away (ERLQ011-016)/ 30m (ERLQ004-008). Offers greatest running cost savings for off-gas properties. Must be installed by a competent person holding F-gas certification, G3 (unvented cylinders) and Part P certification and who have also attended the following training courses at Daikin: SE15 (Heating Design and Application) PLUS SE11 (LT Installation and Commissioning).
