For seats purchased prior to September 2003 a new seat would be required code E709101, as the fitings do not quite match 100%.

Notes: IMPORTANT *
Ideal Standard space seat hinges changed in September 2003 so the seat and cover was manufactured before this date then the EV154AA will not fit and unfortunately the only way to resolve this is to purchase a new seat.

However if you wish to save having to buy a new seat and cover we have had customers who have managed to get them to fit with a little determanation. Please read what one customer said.

The replacement parts did not exactly match the originals. For example, the seat cover hinge-holes did not align exactly with their corresponding holes in the seat cover and the screws had to be angled to fit. I had to re-use the original screws for this as the new screws were too narrow.

The seat bracket that anchors the seat to the bowl was on the correct radius for the seat, but the cylinders that the hinge arms slot through are set too close together leaving a lot of play between the seat and seat cover, hence the cover can slide from side to side.
