Apex Heritage cast iron products are produced by the traditional sandcast method, in which the sand not only imparts the authentic cast iron texture and appearance but also allows for example pipe collars and ears to be cast in one piece with downpipes.
Alumasc combines traditional sand casting expertise with new methods wherever appropriate.
The company has perfected the welding of cast iron so that fittings or offsets to suit a particular situation can be specially fabricated where the alternative of making a pattern and casting would not be economic.
Alumasc holds master patterns for a wide range of gutter profiles, downpipes and accessories, which can be manufactured to order.

There is a comprehensive range of cast iron fittings, and traditional holderbat and earbelt fixings.
Cast iron rainwater heads are also available to suit.

Great service and prices, but would welcome the option of a fast delivery service e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery, they will get any parcel most places in the UK, including Aberdeen before 12 noon the next day. The delivery arrived eventually although there were some delays caused by a lack of stock and I was somewhat suprised to get a call on the delivery day from The Plumb Centre asking when I would be in to accept the delivery, I assumed that this item would be delivered by post. The delivery was made a couple of days later and once I had retrieved it from the bottom of our recycling bin I was eventually in a position to fit it. the fitting of the new hinge to the existing toilet set was complicated somewhat by both the new brackets and the screws being of different sizes to the originals. Due to this I ended up having to use both the existing hinge brackets and the existing screws which annoyed my slightly as I ended up throwing away brand new items that I had just bought.
