Apex Heritage cast iron products are produced by the traditional sandcast method, in which the sand not only imparts the authentic cast iron texture and appearance but also allows for example pipe collars and ears to be cast in one piece with downpipes.
Alumasc combines traditional sand casting expertise with new methods wherever appropriate.
The company has perfected the welding of cast iron so that fittings or offsets to suit a particular situation can be specially fabricated where the alternative of making a pattern and casting would not be economic.
Alumasc holds master patterns for a wide range of gutter profiles, downpipes and accessories, which can be manufactured to order.

Available in 3 sizes, Apex Heritage Moulded socketed cast iron gutters have a sharply featured decorative profile.

I placed my order for a basin and brackets on Thursday, 30 Nov 2011. Correspondence from Christine kept me informed of the estimated delivery date and on Friday 02 Dec 2011 Christine gave me the confirmed delivery date of Monday 05 Dec 2011. The basin and brackets were not delivered on the confirmed delivery date of Monday, 05 Dec 2011. When I emailed to let My Tub know, Jeannette responded promptly and professionally. The basin was damaged and another one put on order to be delivered to me on Wednesday 07 Dec 2011. This was delivered this afternoon which completes my order and I am satisfied with how everything was handled. Decided to purchase the required item at mytub due to the very cheap cost, mytub easily undercut Bristan by approx £35-40 (I am now beginning to wonder how Bristan can justify their high charges). And as an added bonus, mytub offer free delivery on orders over £25, a rare treat amongst suppliers these days. However, my initial delight was short-lived. An estimated delivery of 10 days...surely you can do better than that. In fact, if it wasn't for an email on the 5th day to the support department regarding the order, it probably would've been longer than 10 days, since the order hadn't been processed.
