Unfortunately purchase and delivery of my item was not plain-sailing. The order and payment was made on 1st November with anticipated delivery date or 3-5 days. 1 It was most disappointing, in this day and age, that a delivery date could not have been advised at the time of ordering. Most firms seem to have reasonable certainty and visibility as regards their supply chains.
2 It was also disappointing that this delivery date turned out to be TEN days after the day that the order had been placed these days, for anything other than bespoke items such as cars and furniture, its rare to have to wait longer than 3-4 working days.
