The delivery arrived eventually although there were some delays caused by a lack of stock and I was somewhat suprised to get a call on the delivery day from The Plumb Centre asking when I would be in to accept the delivery, I assumed that this item would be delivered by post. The delivery was made a couple of days later and once I had retrieved it from the bottom of our recycling bin I was eventually in a position to fit it.
the fitting of the new hinge to the existing toilet set was complicated somewhat by both the new brackets and the screws being of different sizes to the originals. Due to this I ended up having to use both the existing hinge brackets and the existing screws which annoyed my slightly as I ended up throwing away brand new items that I had just bought. You asked fora review which I am pleased to give. Not having used your company before and finding a couple of days before Christmas that I needed a spare part for my fire, I came across your name as suppliers of the part.
I duly ordered this part and was so pleased with the service I received and took the trouble to comment on your excellent service at that time. Imagine all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period, delays, etc. with transport generally - BUT - your firm came up trumps and delivered the spare part before Christmas - much sooner than expected, particularly when the delivery date was projected for January. The on line ordering system was excellant and completed without any problem. Confirmation of the order and shipping details received via email again excellant.
Goods all received as specified on the advised delivery date.
So all round the service was excellant.
The only criticisim I have is the the inlet valve supplied with the particular cistern I purchased will not fit if you use the right side handed flush if the inlet is on the right as well. I am now left with a part that is of no use to me. ...
