I was most impressed with the service I received from MyTub. The part for my fire is obsolete but you managed to find it. I phonedand texted on three occasions and the ladies I spoke and received texts from were most helpful.

Couldnt identify the part I wanted from the website code numbers no images to compare so I sent an e-mail with all the nameplate details and the part was successfully sourced from the burner manufacturer even though the burner is 18 years old and this model is no longer manufactured. Everything went very OK but delivery. I placed the order and made the payment on December 23rd, 2010, with a kind request for special care since it was kind of an emergency.
I received a message advising that delivery was CONFIRMED (not estimated) on DEC 30th (refer to my order), but actual delivery took finally place on JAN 7th.
You may agree that £25.20 fee for 15 days to cross the channel (I live in Paris) is difficult to accept for me especially during such a cold winter :-(
I certainly will not renew the experience, although you have good products at very competitive prices because one can not afford to wait for 15 days to have his heater fixed during winter time....

Not sure what happened with this one but initial 30 day lead time to obtain everyday plumbing materials isnt acceptable to my customers, especially as these products are manufactured in the uk. The order was fulfilled with 13 days after agreeing to pay an additional £9 VAT delivery charge. This is however, common in the UK plumbing supply industry & by no means exclusively a MyTubWolseleyMcAlpine problem. All products turned up as described and the communication by MyTub was very good. This has not put me off ordering from MyTub who are usually very good & this may have been out of their control.
