Youve been great Christine especially at keeping me informed of the progress of my order and of its delivery date. Unfortunately the local courier or supplier based in Peckham, south London, I think he said on the phone didnt deliver it to us last Friday as youd said would happen but today, Monday. However they too were very good on the communication front, despite the disparity of dates, and the delay didnt hold up our builders. So thank you! The purchase process was easy and delivery was quick so I would definitely order from my MyTub again.
The product I ordered is a Dudley Tri Shell cistern. The cistern itself is good and strong so perfect for the install I had in mind.
A couple of issues I have found with the product. The Dudley flush valve sits nicely in the middle of the cistern. The inlet valve and ball cock arm foul on the side of the flush valve as the inlet position on the cistern is more central and the ball cock arm is straight. It should be cranked a little to avoid this problem. I have managed to get it to work although the ballcock arm remains in contact with the side of the flush valve body during flushing and filling so not perfect by any means.
