I am pleased with the shower tray as it is a good product at a great price. I was unhappy with the delivery. It was initially set up for the Wednesday then changed to the Thursday. I took the Thu off and it did not arrive. It also did not arrive on the Friday luckily I was home!!!. When I called I was told there was a problem with the drivers hours and I would get it on the Monday but at any time up to 1800. As I had a plumber arriving first thing Monday this was no good. I elected to collect it from Yeovil at my cost and time. So a whole day off plus a couple of hours and diesel money wasted. Free delivery on orders over £25.00 should not mean second rate delivery especially when it ends up costing the customer. I was pleased with the product (it worked) and level of communication later into the buying process but was left disappointed with the sales tactics.
I had chosen MyTub because when I called you gave me a lead time which was shorter than my plumber had stated. We were without a shower and wanted it working as soon as possible. Your product was slightly more expensive, but explaining my situation to your salesman, I had been told that the part would definitely arrive sooner. I therefore made the decision to buy with MyTub.
I was disappointed though as once payment had been taken I was told that the lead time was beyond what my plumber had suggested...so I had paid more for no reason. I appreciate that sometimes delays occur, but I was left with the feeling that MyTub were just tryin...
